We're hiring a GM/COO to scale our tech-enabled marketing firm Single Grain

My company Single Grain is at an inflection point and I need a strong operator to help us get to the next level.

Quick context: We're a B2B tech-enabled marketing firm with 50+ people, a top 10 marketing podcast (Marketing School, with Neil Patel), and a growing YouTube channel (Leveling Up) that drives real distribution. Our positioning is simple: we're the B2B marketing partner companies never outgrow.

Here's what's happening right now that makes this interesting. We're building enterprise-grade AI revenue agents for our clients. Not "we use ChatGPT" stuff. Real AI infrastructure that's turning us into a hybrid between an agency and a technology company. Think OpenClaw + Claude Code. My CTO and I are heads-down building the future of what this company becomes, and we need someone who can be the glue that holds the current organization together while we do it.

The role in plain terms:

This person is the operating layer between me and the rest of the company. They make sure the trains run on time, processes are followed, and metrics are hit. They're the enforcer. But they're also forward-thinking enough to help innovate alongside us.

Mission: Own operational excellence. Growth targets, customer retention, and metrics accountability. If something's slipping, they catch it before I do.

Competencies we're looking for:

10+ years in operations leadership, ideally in an agency, SaaS, or tech-enabled services environment. Must be AI-forward. Everyone on our team is already building with AI daily, so this person needs to walk in fluent. We will interview hard on this. Been there, done that energy. We don't need someone figuring it out for the first time.

Must be willing to relocate to Los Angeles. My CTO and I are in-office and we have a lot to build. This isn't a remote role.

Why this is worth looking at:

We have distribution most companies would kill for. A podcast with over 150M downloads, a YouTube channel with 194k subs, and live events that put us in rooms with decision-makers. The AI agents we're building are creating a moat that will make us nearly impossible to outgrow. Strong upside for the right person who wants to help build something significant.

If you know someone who fits, or if this is you, shoot me a DM. Happy to have a conversation.
