We had 500 people who use TikTok, Instagram, and X help with this experiment.

And we had them use each platform daily for at least 30 minutes, and they did this for a week.

Here are the results:

TikTok

Content from followers - 27%

Content from non-followers - 73%

Instagram

Content from followers - 32%

Content from non-followers - 68%

X

Content from followers - 19%

Content from non-followers - 81%

It just goes to show followers aren't the key. You must create engaging content if you want social networks to showcase your content.
