- The real reason creators are firing their YouTube team
The real reason creators are firing their YouTube team
The good news: there are still options for agencies
I was talking to a creator with 5M+ subs—he confirmed what I’ve suspected for a while:
Even the biggest creators can’t hold onto a YouTube team.
It’s constant turnover. Why?
Because most of these teams do one of two things wrong:
They charge way too much ($20K–$40K/month isn’t uncommon)
They don’t own the strategy—just the edits
At the end of the day, every entrepreneur wants the same thing:
✅ Take things off my plate
✅ Handle strategy
✅ Don’t drain my bank account
And funny enough? Many creators end up going back to the same overpriced teams because there are so few that actually get results.
The good news? There’s an alternative. A YouTube agency offers a data-driven strategy with measurable results.
YouTube is still a goldmine—but only if you’ve got the right team and a strategy that flexes fast.
The algo changes, the formats shift, and if you’re not live, you’re last.

Here’s my move:
→ More live streams
→ More unpolished content
→ Fewer overproduced videos
→ And teams that don’t overcharge for “just editing”
