Stop Using 'AI' In Your Marketing ASAP
New data exposes why this popular tactic suddenly stopped working

Does using the word “AI” within your marketing help boost conversions?
Around a year and a half ago 16 sites run by marketers performed A/B tests to see if the word “AI” boosted conversion rates.
They tested it in headline copy, body copy, images, videos, and throughout their funnel.
The conversion rate on all 16 sites increased, ranging from 7.9% to 25.3%.
The average lift in conversion rate was 16.1%.
Now, these sites all leveraged AI technology … whether they created it or leveraged an API from a provider like Open AI.
Fast forward to today and these sites all re-ran the A/B. Half the visitors saw AI language and the other half didn’t.
When the test was re-run a year and a half later, literally, there was little to no lift in conversions from using the word “AI”.
AI is still a great technology but the small data sample I have shows the it doesn’t sway conversions as much as it used to.
