New way to scale organic traffic
use in Q4 and 2025
We're seeing strong day-over-day growth on the AI SEO experiments we're running for clients and internally.
This is something that only larger companies like Expedia could do back in the day because they had more resources.
Now people like you and I can do it.
Here's how to get started to make SEO scalable again 😉:
1. Understand which keyword clusters and templates you want to go after
For example, if you are Expedia, you'd have templates like:
Fun things to do in Rome (city or country)
Things to eat in Rome (city or country)
Best restaurants in Rome (city or country)
You can see how this would quickly lead to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of pages for a consumer product like theirs.
2. Design templates for these pages
How can you design high-converting templates for these pages that make sense?
Our programmatic SEO pages internally are converting at about 3% which is decent to start.
3. Leverage OpenAI's API
Specifically, use ChatGPT-4o to create these pages at scale. You'll still want to spot-check these occasionally just to make sure that the machines aren't kicking out random gibberish.
Your prompt might be something along the lines of: 'I'm looking to create the most helpful page around 'fun things to do in (city)', for this specific section, I'd like to cover the top 10 most talked about things, and bullet point the highlights for each location.
Please make this easy to read and include fun facts.
4. Don't forget about internal linking
If you're going to be creating hundreds or thousands of pages, discoverability is important, so don't forget about your internal linking structure. You might have one 'pillar' page that talks about the best things to do and then have them start linking to countries and then cities.
Make it easy for the search engines to crawl your stuff.
5. Continue to refine the pages, now using programmatic CRO (pCRO) 😉
After you collect data for a month or two, you can start optimizing these pages at scale:
Are you showing the most relevant logos?
Are you showing case studies tailored to the content of that page?
These can easily lead to lifts of 10-50%.
