Sleep Hacks for Entrepreneurs
👾Leveling Up 👾
Here's how to get the best sleep ever using unconventional sleep hacks from Eight Sleep’s CEO, Matteo Franceschetti. They're the world's leading sleep company right now.
Sleep is our ultimate productivity superpower, so use these to bring your best self every day:
1. Sauna + cold plunge 2x (contrast therapy)
Doing a sauna 4x per week for 15-20 minutes will decrease your all-cause mortality by up to ~40% or so. Adding in cold therapy helps release endorphins and also does neat things like adding brown fat (good fat) to your body.
There are a TON of other studies on this but tl;dr, this stuff feels good and the natural body high is worth it.
2. No phone before bed ideally
Reading an e-mail from your boss or watching something scary before bed is a recipe to keep your brain up. Use your bedroom to sleep. Keep the phone away.
3. Breathwork
Breathwork helps calm the body and provides a meditative effect. There are different types of breathwork so just go on YouTube and search around.
There are a handful of other things you can do that I mentioned initially in the clip. These are all a great starting point to level up your sleep.
