My take on how to become an elite marketer

Step 1: stop making excuses

I’ve worked with hundreds of marketers.

Only a small % actually move the needle.

The difference? Agency.

Here’s how high-agency marketers operate in 2025:

  • They mock up landing pages in v0 without design or dev.

  • They spin up custom outreach workflows using tools like Lindy.

  • They generate ad creatives with ChatGPT Images in minutes.

  • They turn audio into multi-language assets with ElevenLabs.

  • They feed Manus a blog’s tone and guidelines and get back optimized, long-tail SEO content.

  • They use Overlap to mine gold from podcasts and deploy it to YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikTok.

No waiting. No excuses. No “it’s not my job.”
They build first, ask later.

Meanwhile, the low-agency crowd is stuck saying:

  • “I need to wait on [insert team].”

  • “Let’s punt this to next week.”

  • “I don’t have the resources.”

  • “We need more headcount.”

  • “I don’t know how to do it.”

If that’s your mindset, you’ve already lost.

The leverage is everywhere if you know how to use it.
We’re living in the most marketer-friendly time in history —
but only the high-agency ones will capitalize.

Here’s the truth:

The most dangerous marketer in 2025 is technical, creative, and fast.
They use AI as a co-pilot. They learn tools on the fly.
And they don’t ask for permission.

That’s who wins. That’s who gets promoted.
That’s who builds 7-figure funnels and gets poached by unicorns.
