Deep Dive: AI Podcasts

AI podcasts might completely disrupt the podcast industry...

Companies like Perplexity are starting AI-generated podcasts.

And they seem to be working...

Perplexity has an AI-generated podcast that covers AI news and it has 50+ 5-star reviews already.

Each episode is less than 10 minutes and it's a nice daily recap of what's happening in the AI space.

Imagine what will happen in the next 12 months, I can see my marketing podcast becoming:

  • An AI podcaster trained on my knowledge interviewing another AI-trained guest (for example me interviewing Andrew Huberman except neither of us is present)

  • Translated into multiple languages in my voice (this is already happening but the tech isn't 100% yet)

  • Different podcasts started in my voice (one could be covering local businesses across the country, the other could be covering the latest in e-commerce, the other could be the latest in SaaS, etc.)
