$1.33M in Profit per Minute
All From One Thing
Welcome to the first-ever Saturday edition of Leveling Up!
Every Saturday, we’ll share an actionable idea you can implement right now to generate better business results.
To kick things off, we’re sharing a $1.33M insight from our CEO, Eric Siu:
“I remember when I was in my early 20s, I'd hear of people paying $25,000 to attend a 'mastermind'.
The first thought I had was, 'what kind of moron would pay that amount to hang out with people for content that can be downloaded online? '
I'm a curious person, so one day, my friend and I applied as 'business partners' so we could pay $12,500 each instead of the full amount because, well, we're cheap. 😉
It wasn't until I attended that I realized the true benefit of these events:
Someone might have a signup flow that is converting extraordinarily well & you could literally swipe that and make $1M.
Or someone might introduce you to an e-mail marketing expert that could make a few tweaks to unlock millions in revenue.
Or someone might have the best system for sourcing and acquiring businesses with a new angle.
Or someone might have a holding company and has nailed the art of hiring operators.
The list goes on and on.
The point is, finding like-minded people to hang out with becomes tougher as you continue to rise higher.
I'm not saying that you need to shell out $25k for an event, but it's a great way to get your foot in the door, meet your good friends in the group, and move on.
I stayed in that group for two years before deciding to put together our own mini-group of 10 people.
We've been to places like Bodrum, Tulum, Cabo, Tahoe, etc. and we don't see that stopping anytime soon.
The $4M conversation happened on one of these trips.
Same with the $100k in AWS credits.
It's the 5% of the things that you wouldn't share with the outside world. It's stuff that you keep close to your chest but want to share with your closest friends.
That's the reason to do these masterminds.
Again, create your own where everyone just pays the cost.
Or you can join one, find your tribe, and then do that. There's no right or wrong way to do it. The doing just needs to be done.
Aside from this, I'm in other groups like YPO, and it's great.
But I still wanted to have my own, which is why I do my Leveling Up Founders event, where I get ~100 of the best marketing-minded founders (the next one happening in LA Aug 7-9).
If you're a founder doing >7 figures, you can learn more about 'Leveling Up Founders' here.”
To your growth!
